Pre-Teen/Teen Activity Nights

Meet with your friends at the Greater LaGrange YMCA one Monday of every month to play games, work out in a fun class like kickboxing or do a community project like raising money for Haiti.  The best part is the group chooses what you will do the following month. Field trips are possible and have included indoor ice skating, bowling and so much more.

Babysitting Certification

Interested in earning a little extra spending money?  Before you take the first step, finding clients, try taking the babysitting certification class offered through the American Red Cross at the GLG YMCA.  Learn the basics of infant care, babysitting techniques and step-by-step instruction on what to do in an emergency situation.  The class usually runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. so be sure to bring a sack lunch.  Call the front desk for future classes.
